MAGICAL giant lantern ships and a swashbuckling soundtrack helped transform Barnoldswick's Victory Park into an enchanted harbour.
Thousands of people enjoyed the unusual 'nautical' theme for yesterday's fire show spectacular.
The show featured laser lights, fire breathing, story-telling, music, a funfair, food and thousands of fireworks.
Barnoldswick Community Arts Group held workshops for people to help build giant ship-shaped lanterns to enhance the maritime event.
Barnoldswick councillor and organiser David Whipp said: "We really pushed the boat out with this year's event as we even had our own lighthouse.
"We had music accompanying the fireworks that helped to give the event a seafaring flavour.
"Powerful lasers, straight from appearing at Alton Towers, created our lighthouse.
"As well as the furious finale, there was fire breathing and juggling, storytelling, a junior samba band, drama and dance which helped make the show a success once again."
