A BLACKBURN youth club is celebrating being awarded a £4,998 grant.
Youth Works Higher Croft, offers a range of activities to teenagers in the area and plans to use the money to create a quiet study space within the club.
Funded as part of Nestle's Make Space Campaign, the award is one of up to 26 in the third round of grants.
Last year more than 30 clubs benefited from similar grants from the company.
Clubs are required to meet certain criteria before the awards are made and must provide a quiet area for study with access to sports and creative activities also available.
Club organiser, Gary Phillips, said: "We are delighted. Young people in this area have nowhere to go to socialise after school.
"Now we will be able to provide better facilities."
