CONCERNS about plans that would double the size of an Unsworth golf course will be discussed tonight by Bury Councils planning control committee in the Peel Room at Bury Town Hall at 7pm.
Owners of Pike Fold Golf Club want to extend their nine-hole golf course on to 35 hectares of farmland, to provide an 18-hole facility at the Hill Lane site.
The proposals include landscaping, with creation of wetland areas.
The occupants of Unsworth Moss Farm, want conditions imposed to prevent golf balls hitting farm buildings and machinery and Simister and Prestwich Bridleways Association want a bridle route included.
