DARWEN fundraisers spurred on morris dancers to collect more than £1,000 for children with disabilities.
The English Town and Country Carnival Organisation, better known as Morris Dancers, presented Rainbow House in Chorley with a cheque for £1,100.
The donation represented a third of their annual fundraising activities for this year.
Fundraising organisers Shirley Morris and Audrey Mitchell joined chairman Kevin Morris to visit Rainbow House to see the children who will benefit.
Rainbow House is a centre for children with cerebral palsy and other motor disorders, where they are taught using the method of Conductive Education.
The belief is that children with motor disorders have the capacity to learn and train their bodies to overcome physical and mental challenges.
The charity relies totally on grants from trusts and on any fundraising initiatives.
The money was raised in various ways, from participating in competitions to tombolas, a sponsored walk and raffles.
Kevin Morris, chairman of the ETTCO said: "We are delighted to see the money that we have raised going to Rainbow House.
"When we visited the children, they seemed so happy and were obviously enjoying being with each other and benefiting from this unique method of education."
