A FATHER and daughter's visit to Old Trafford netted £551 for Fairfield Hospital special care baby unit.
Eight-year-old Leah Vose, who was herself treated in the special care unit, was sponsored to go round Manchester United FC's stadium in her wheelchair, pushed by her father Michael.
Mum Anita, of Wheatfield Close, Bury, said: "Leah heard about the fundraiser through her school, Tottington Primary. This was a way of saying 'thank you' to Fairfield Hospitals special care baby unit and childrens ward."
Leah was born eight weeks prematurely by emergency caesarean, and is still under the care of Dr Bose Haider at Fairfields childrens ward.
Anita added: "Both did really well as they walked round the stadium and finished by going through the players tunnel onto the football ground."
