BURY College's Eight Dragons Team Enterprise is getting down to business in a bid to get the Christmas tills ringing.
The eight-strong squad, one of the teams in the latest Bury Young Enterprise competition, has manufactured a range of seasonal-related products which are now on sale to fellow students and the public.
Along with teams from schools and other colleges, they sell shares, manufacture and market a range of products while receiving valuable business assistance and advice from a professional.
Eight Dragons began their Team Enterprise stint in September and will be involved in the Young Enterprise Finals in Bury next March.
On Tuesday, the team launched its Christmas sale at the college, featuring seasonal gifts, including pictures, table decorations gift boxes and pom-pom snowmen which they have made themselves.
Another Eight Dragons scheme is a furniture restoration service, while future plans include launching a range of products with a St Valentines Day and Easter theme.
Link teacher Elaine Hopwood said: "The students began to manufacture their Christmas goods in September. They meet three days a week, one day of which is devoted to production."
Young Enterprise, which has been established for many years in Bury, aims to give school pupils and students their first taste of business.
