AN ORGAN recital in Prestwich is hoping to raise the roof in more ways than one.
St Mary's Parish Church, in Church Lane, is the venue for the event on Saturday, November 20 and money raised will go towards the church roof fund, which needs urgent restoration.
Church organist Dr John Ellis will provide the entertainment from 11.15am and coffee and biscuits will be served beforehand at 10.30am.
Everyone is welcome.
