IT is time to honour those men and women who, during a century of wars, gave their lives for King or Queen and country.
They gave their lives doing a job they were asked or volunteered, to do. They died to give the freedoms enjoyed today, and the right to live in peace. They must never be forgotten.
That is why every man, woman and child must do their duty on Sunday and turn out to pay their respects to the millions who shall never grow old, whether they died in Flanders, Dunkirk, the Falkland Islands, in Iraq, or any of the world's battlefields..
The following are details of the Remembrance Day parades taking place around the borough on Sunday.
