Muslim students can celebrate Eid after missing out last year to sit an exam.
The country's largest exam board, AQA the Assessment and Qualification Alliance said it took action to rearrange dates for this year's exams after complaints from schools that a science dual award exam had coincided last year with the festival.
The exam was held last year on November 27, the same day as the religious celebration but will this year be on November 18 while Eid falls a couple of days earlier.
