ATHERTON COLLS 1 SALFORD CITY 3: THREE second-half goals saw Salford come back from 1-0 down to win at Alder House.
Salford's Gary Massey was denied in the first minute when his header was cleared off the line. But it was Collieries who scored first, Anthony Johnson converting a 14th-minute penalty after Andy Walker had been brought down.
Massey equalised for Salford with a far-post header seven minutes after the break, before Kenny Tudor put the visitors in front. Matt Barnes made sure of Salford's win by scoring five minutes from the end.
