TWO workers were injured in a small explosion at a factory on Monday afternoon.
The minor blast happened when a build-up of fumes ignited inside an injection moulding unit at G and G Products Ltd in Cams Lane, Radcliffe.
A 25-year-old man suffered burns to his forehead and a colleague was overcome by fumes. Both required hospital treatment. A sprinkler system contained the flames until firefighters from Bury and Whitefield reached the mill.
The accident has been reported to the Health and Safety Executive.
