FRUSTRATED Chorley manager John Hughes has urged his side to make the most of their appetite in front of goal.
Hughes was disappointed the Magpies only converted one out of numerous chances, resulting in them earning just a point at home to Brigg Town on Saturday.
"We're lacking a bit of quality in front of goal," he said.
"If we had taken our chances we could have had three goals in the first half and it would have been game over.
"But when we failed to score again after taking the lead, we gave another silly goal away.
"We didn't play particularly well on Saturday but, on the positive side, we're now unbeaten in five games and four of those are ones that we should have won."
Hughes has admitted he is likely to ring the changes for tonight's UniBond League Challenge Cup second round tie at home to Mossley.
Phil Power, Ryan Hutchinson, Neville Nelson and Paul Posteraro are all like to come into the first team.
"I just want to give a few people a rest because we picked up a few knocks on Saturday," Hughes said.
"Mossley are an up and down side but they're capable of digging in to get results.
"They are a strong side with a lot of depth to their squad but we've just got to knuckle down because we look to progress in any competition we play in."
Meanwhile, Hughes said Morecambe have not made an approach for Jamie Vermiglio.
The impressive midfielder is rumoured to be a target for the Nationwide Conference side.
