I SEE that the pavilions in Church Street, Blackburn are once again attracting the attention of the people of the town.
Councillor Rigby has kindly forwarded a figure, very conservative I might add, of the needs, money wise, to make the hairdressers a viable proposition - although this is only a start.
No-one proper has come forward as yet to tackle any of the pavilions. This is a mess and remains the council's folly. The reason for all the unease in the town centre is the orbital route which has set about strangling the centre of the town.
JOHN SHORROCK, Marlton Road, Blackburn.
