I MUST say how ashamed I was of the people of Blackburn. At 11am in Corporation park on November 11 at the War Memorial there were 10 people paying their respects to those who fell in two World Wars, the Falklands Conflict and Iraq.
For our tomorrow they gave their today, giving the ultimate sacrifice of their lives.
If out of a population of 130,000 or so this small band of people were the only ones who made the effort - one in 13,000 - then shame on you.
