BLACKPOOL hope to continue their much-improved home form this Saturday when promotion hopefuls Tranmere Rovers visit Bloomfield Road this weekend.
The Wirral club are about the closest thing the Seasiders have to local rivals in this division, and the two clubs have enjoyed some competitive clashes in recent years.
But if Blackpool are to win they will have to do it without Danny Coid, given a shock three-match ban this week for his part in the ugly fracas with Colchester players last month.
That leaves Colin Hendry with a selection problem on the right, as Martin Bullock is still some weeks from full fitness.
Blackpool also have some fresh injury concerns ahead of the game, with Gareth Evans suffering a broken nose after an accidental collision with Peter Clarke's elbow on Saturday.
His manager is unlikely to let that keep the left-back out of the team!
On the plus side, John Murphy is now back to full fitness and could have played last weekend had Colin Hendry not decided Pool could get through their cup game without him.
