A WHITEFIELD pub buzzing with customers has raised more than £2,000 for charity.
The Beehive in Bury New Road handed over a cheque for £2,359 to Booth Hall Hospital thanks to the generosity of its regulars.
Customers filled a swear jar with loose change and took part in games and quizzes to raise the impressive amount.
Landlord Eric Griffiths invited Pat Whiteside, charity manager for Booth Hall, to the pub so the customers and staff could present the cheque in person.
Mr Griffiths said: "I would like to thank the regulars for their generosity. We are exceptionally lucky at the Beehive to have such good, caring and helpful customers who are happy to help others."
