IT could not have been timed better and was, perhaps, the most spectacular show of the night.
As Del Boy and Bo Selecta characters began a walkabout round Burnley's Charter Walk shopping centre the snow began to fall.
Despite the cold, plenty of families gathered well before the big event to watch performances by the Brunshaw Action Group,.
One Burnley couple had taken a break from their shopping to come and watch the show.
They said: "We knew it was on because we looked it up on the internet. It's really good - apart from the weather, it's freezing.
"We're big Burnley supporters so we're looking forward to Steve Cotterill and Bumble Bee more than anything else."
The shops do not start late-night opening until November 25 but as they closed for the night more people drifted over to join in the fun.
A brief appearance by 'Del Boy' complete with fake Gucci watches.
Clarets boss Steve Cotterill did the honours and then, after a health and safety announcement, it was time for the fireworks.
Burnley town centre manager Lisa Durkin said: "I can't believe it snowed. It couldn't have been better.
"The people of Burnley did us proud and obviously came out to see Steve Cotterill. The snow made it so festive and people didn't seem to mind getting cold and wet."
