JOHN Hughes has urged his Chorley troops to find the winning formula.
The Magpies are unbeaten in five games but, out of those, four have been draws.
Now manager Hughes is hoping his side can go one step further and begin turning one point into three, starting with Stocksbridge PS tomorrow.
"I've said it before but there are a lot of sides who we should be beating," he said.
"Our recent run has brought a buzz about the place. The lads are so bubbly you'd think we were in the top three, not bottom three.
"The home games especially are the ones we want to be winning, because that gets the supporters excited.
"If you've got a good home crowd, that's a boost for the players."
And Hughes is hoping Chorley can exploit Stocksbridge Park Steels' weaknesses at Victory Park.
"We should have beaten them in the cup at their place earlier in the season," he said.
"They have two good young lads up front who score goals but, apart from that, they are a mediocre side."
Hughes added that he is hoping to benefit from an enforced break in midweek after their UniBond League Challenge Cup second round game at home to Mossley was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
"Lee Pennington has been out for three weeks with knee ligament trouble but hopefully he will be available tomorrow," he said.
"Jamie Vermiglio and Dean Callaghan picked up knocks last weekend, but I expect them to have shaken those injuries off."
And Chorley are hoping to attract a big crowd with Magpies Trust Acting chair Mark Rees adding: "The Stocksbridge match is a great opportunity for the club to attract new support.
"Quite a few Blackburn Rovers fans come to watch Chorley, and we are hoping to welcome a few more this Saturday. If you've never been to see Chorley before, this is a great chance to try it out."
Admission is £6 for an adult and £1 for an accompanied child, a family of two adults and two children can attend a match for just £14.
The Magpies Trust is organising a raffle at the Stocksbridge game with a host of prizes and £1 buys a chance to win two tickets for a Christmas party at Rivington Barn, near Bolton, worth £55.
Also on offer is a day out at Chorley FC as the main match sponsor.
The winner and seven guests will enjoy the hospitality of the club at a home match, with free food and drink, seats in the director's box and the chance to select and then present the Man of the Match award.
