A MAN who attacked an woman 'for fun' in Burnley was today awaiting sentence.
Burnley magistrates heard Usman Bacha, 27, struck his victim with a "fierce" blow in her right arm.
The incident came just three months after similar unprovoked attacks on three people in the town.
Bacha, who has severe learning difficulties, admitted common assault. The defendant - whose address in Accrington the bench ordered should not be published - was bailed until December 13.
Andrew Robinson, prosecuting, told the court the latest victim was in Arley Gardens when the defendant hit her. When officers arrived, Bacha was aggressive towards officer, who had to use CS gas.
Mr Robinson said when the defendant was interviewed he said he did it for fun. Bacha was in breach of four conditional discharges.
