A TEMPORARY collection point has been set up in Earby for residents who pay their council tax, rent, and business rates by cash.
It is sited in the police station in Victoria Road while major renovations, taking several months, go ahead at the council offices along the road.
Inquiries about council services can also be made at this temporary collection point. Initially, the service will be available from 10am to noon on Mondays and Thursdays.
It is hoped the refurbished Earby Council Shop will be opened by the end of March next year.
John Kirk, Pendle Council's Executive Director (Services), said: "Hopefully, the new arrangements won't be too inconvenient to local residents as the new collection point is on the same street."
