A WOMAN devoted to carrying out random acts of kindness has taken her philosophy away from East Lancashire.
But before Karma Army member Angie Hulme left the area yesterday, she carried out her last act of spreading happiness in Blackburn.
Angie is part of a group - also known as the Join Me Collective - which aims to bring more happiness to the world by carrying out random acts of kindness.
Angie, 21, of Stanley Street, Accrington, is moving to Nottingham but before leaving she left mysterious gifts on park benches across the town centre.
They were made up of books complete with a positive message inside and a scratch card to give the recipient the chance to win a fortune.
Angie said: "It was to give people a chance to read something they might not normally pick up.
"And to put a smile on their faces by giving something they would not expect."
