RESIDENTS in Nelson have had their say about a new vision for the town.
The draft regeneration plan sets out the framework for tackling issues including housing, economy, litter, vandalism and anti-social behaviour over the next 15 years.
The Area Development Framework (ADF) will be unveiled later this month but residents were invited to comment this weekend at the Civic Theatre.
Hundreds of people turned out to look at the plan, which will be used to bid for cash under the Government's Housing Market Renewal Initiative.
Brian Cookson, Pendle Council's executive director (regeneration) said: "The draft ADF is a new vision for Nelson.
"It sets out possible solutions to a range of housing, transport, social, economic and environmental problems affecting Nelson."
Council leader Alan Davies said: "It is vital that residents have their say and help to share the final vision for the town.
"No decisions have been taken yet and the public's views will influence any final decisions by the council."
