GRESLEY ROVERS 2 CLITHEROE 0
AFTER the shock of manager Lee Sculpher leaving the club last week the last thing the Blues needed was a trip to the current league leaders, but they produced a creditable performance and were perhaps unlucky to return home pointless.
Assistant manager Martin Eatough took over as caretaker for this game and deployed the same lone striker system that had seen the Blues unbeaten in their last five games.
Chris Gray put Gresley in front on 13 minutes before he added his second just before the break.
