THERE is no room for sentiment in any team of Mark Molyneaux's.

The Rossendale United player manager was delighted his side moved out of the UniBond First Division relegation zone courtesy of their 2-1 home win over Warrington Town.

Nevertheless, he has moved quickly to make sure his squad doesn't run the risk of dropping back into the bottom two by signing no less than six players since Saturday's win.

Former Chorley players Lee Southwood, Ben Chatburn and Ian Bold have teamed up once more with their former Magpies manager, while Southport centre forward Ross Harford, St Helens left back Matty Wright and Greater Manchester Police team goalkeeper Stuart Lindsey have also moved to Dark Lane.

"They are all good players and it adds quality and a bit more pressure to everyone else at the club," Molyneaux said.

"I'm not going to stand still. Although it was disappointing to concede, it was a pleasing performance on Saturday and we want to go on from this.

"I'm looking for improvements all the time because as quick as we've got out of the relegation zone it could be just as quick to get back into it."

Rossendale, who have picked up 10 points from a possible 12 in their last four matches, entertain mid-table Woodley Sports tomorrow (kick-off 7.45pm).

"It will be a defence footballing game so that should suit us down to the ground," Molyneaux added.

"We're playing some good stuff and everyone's working really hard."

Meanwhile, Molyneaux heaped praise on the committee members, ground staff and supporters who made sure Saturday's win over Warrington was possible.

A group of people worked tirelessly to clear a layer of snow off the pitch to make it playable.

"I'd like to thank them for their efforts," the Dale boss said.

"The people here are great to work for."
