THE Clayton-le-Moors Branch of the Royal British Legion would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to the people of Clayton-le-Moors for the excellent turn out at the annual Royal British Legion Remembrance Parade on Sunday, November 14, 2004.
The Branch also extends its gratitude to the Vicar Rev John Tranter of All Saints Church, Clayton-le-Moors, for a very moving Remembrance Service both in the church and at the cenotaph.
Grateful thanks go to church wardens Linda Leyland, John Blysnuick and all who assisted to make the Remembrance Service a success.
A special thank you goes to John and Margaret Brown of the Wellington Hotel, Barnes Square, Clayton-le-Moors for an excellent after parade buffet and Carole and Helen for the after parade refreshments in the Civic Hall.
