AS President of the British Horse Society I am delighted to tell you about 'Giving Welly,' an exciting charity initiative devised by Hunter who are celebrating 50 years of providing the world's most famous green welly.
Over the next 12 months Hunter is breaking with tradition and providing limited edition different coloured 'Giving Welly' wellies to help raise money for a unique consortium of British charities, including BHS.
Each 'Giving Welly' charity has been allocated a colour that reflects their Cause, except for the Countryside Foundation for Education, which has been allocated children's wellies which are available in all colours. The BHS 'Giving Welly' boots are coloured black, other charities involved are: Breast Cancer Haven, The British Horse Society, British Lung Foundation, Countryside Foundation for Education, The Game Conservancy, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Rainbow Trust Children's Charity, The Woodland Trust.
Hunter has even made special Santa welly socks to wear with these unique boots! They come with a fun fur trim which sticks up over the top of the wellies and I am assured will be the fashion accessory of the year!
