A "DISABLED" man who threatened police twice in as many days - once armed with a metal bar - has been warned he could face jail.
Burnley Magistrates heard how Colin Simpson, 21, had a mental age less than his years and needed to show off to his peers.
The defendant, of Goodall Close, Earby, admitted two counts of threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and one of having an offensive weapon in public, on October 16 and 17.
He was bailed until December 14 for a pre-sentence report.
David Lawson, defending, said Simpson had severe problems. The defendant, who was classed as disabled, would not be in court but for alcohol.
He had a medical condition which meant that when he became involved in confrontations his reaction was totally inappropriate.
