PEOPLE in Accrington are being invited to get into the festive spirit early by attending a Christmas concert at the Town Hall.
Rossendale Male Voice Choir is joining forces with Rossendale Ladies Choir and the Milnrow Brass on Sunday, December 5, at 2.30pm.
The afternoon will feature a selection of festive songs, carols and music.
Rossendale Male Voice Choir, which was founded in 1924 by the late Fred Tomlinson, has become one of the most respected male voice choirs in the country.
The choir has enjoyed success at home and abroad, and has appeared with the BBC Northern Symphony Orchestra, the Liverpool Philharmonic and several leading brass bands.
Rossendale Ladies Choir, which in May 2004 won first prize in every class for female choirs at the Morecambe Music Festive, was formed in 1977.
