LANCASTER'S fantastic water polo team made it a magnificent seven as they clinched the National League title with two wins over the weekend.
The outstanding team of the season continued their fine form with an 11-4 win over London Penguin - and that guaranteed the title for the seventh time and the third year on the trot.
Lancaster are now the second most successful team in the history of the league thanks to their super seven titles.
And the winning streak continued on Sunday when the team beat arch rivals Bristol 10-8 - their third win over the West Country outfit this season.
Lancaster are currently undefeated and need only to beat Rotherham and Cheltenham in the final weekend's fixtures at Millfield in order to get through the season with a 100 per record.
Chris Hartley and Richie Davis will be returning to the squad but unfortunately the side will be without stalwart Colin Burgess, who is due to be serving a two match ban for gross misconduct after dissent to the referee in the previous match against Cheltenham.
