An Ainsworth man has been ordered to serve a community service for his ninth offence of driving whilst disqualified.
John Stephen Casey (36), of Bury Old Road, had initially denied a charge of driving whilst disqualified and without insurance in Sutherland Road, Heywood, but changed his plea in court and the case had been adjourned by Rochdale magistrates for pre-sentence reports.
After reading the reports, the bench decided to make Casey subject to a community punishment order for 180 hours. He was also ordered to pay £225 trial preparation costs.
