BIKERS will be roaring around Blackburn town centre on Sunday December 5 to hand out a bit of pre-Christmas cheer.
Blackburn's Motorcycle Action Group, known as Red Rose MAG, have organised a charity motorbike ride which is expected to attract as many as 50 bikes.
The group, which fights to protect the rights of riders, will be donating gifts to the THOMAS Centre (Those on the Margins of A Society) based at St Anne's House, Francis Street, Blackburn.
The charity look to tackle drug abuse and reduce reoffending by supporting the homeless, drug addicts, criminals and the mentally ill with drug rehabilitation schemes and monitoring of reoffenders.
They will set off from the Sir Charles Napier pub, Limbrick, at noon and follow a three-mile route around the town.
Christine McDonald, of Red Rose MAG, said: "We will be really happy if we get as many as 50 taking part.
