AN inquest has opened after a 77-year-old man died in hospital following a fall at home.
The coroner heard how Alan Seed, of Ferrier Court, Blackburn, was admitted to Blackburn Royal Infirmary on October 27 and released, but returned later with sickness and a headache.
He died on November 23, and was found to have suffered a brain haemorrhage. The inquest, adjourned until January 25, heard how Mr Seed had suffered two subsequent falls at Blackburn Royal Infirmary before his death.
