I MUST thank the two knights in shining armour who came to my assistance at lunch time on November 12.
As I turned the corner from Shear Brow on to St James's Road, Blackburn, I lowered gear (as I always do), when a white lorry came far too close behind me.
Because I had slowed down I was subjected to a tirade of extreme verbal filthy abuse from these two so-called men who were shouting from the windows.
At this point I stopped the car completely, which made them worse. Then a car coming in the opposite direction stopped and two men got out and really gave these two persons a really good telling off -- and it worked. Thank you both again gentlemen. It made my day.
By the way I am in my 70s and have been driving 40 years.
E FIELDING (Mrs), (address supplied).
