A 20 YEAR-OLD man attacked two teenage boys in a park and bit them on the face, it has been claimed.
Terence Taylor, of Hope Carr Lane, Leigh allegedly went to Lilford Park after his girlfriend rang him to say her sister was being bullied there.
He angrily walked up to a 16-year-old boy and after asking him if he knew where Stephanie Wood, his girlfriend's sister was, he took hold of him by his clothing and head butted him, claimed Jonathan Dickinson, prosecuting at Liverpool Crown Court.
The boy hit back to defend himself and Taylor grabbed him again and bit his cheek and nose. The boy struck back but Taylor took hold of his head, pushed it down and kneed him in the face, he alleged.
Taylor then walked away saying: "This is a Tess Taylor special, claimed Mr Dickinson.
A 15-year-old boy had tried to intervene and Taylor then turned his attention to him and punched him in the side of the head. He then bit him on the nose causing a ragged laceration to tip and a cut to the septum.
The boy needed plastic surgery because of his injuries, having lost part of his nose, and has been left permanently scarred, said Mr Dickinson. His other victim had bruising and swelling.
Taylor was arrested 12 days later and when interviewed he said he had been set upon by three or four youths in the park. He said he fought free and ran off but denied biting anyone.
He has pleaded not guilty to assaulting the first boy causing actual bodily harm and causing grievous bodily harm with intent to the other boy.
