HUNDREDS of talented youngsters flocked to Colne for the annual Luther Greenwood Memorial Festival.

The celebration of music, speech and drama showcased the talents of youngsters from all over East Lancashire and beyond.

Honorary sponsor's secretary and recorder of results Kathleen Bannister said: "It was a long day but one to remember, especially for our Colne and Nelson children who delighted us both afternoon and evening with choral singing of superb quality."
