A MAN was robbed by two thugs as he walked across Prestwich Golf Course.

The 52-year-old victim was approached by the duo and pushed to the ground. They demanded his holdall and one of the offenders punched him in the face. He handed over the bag before being struck for a second time. Both robbers then fled the scene.

Police say one of the thugs was 5ft 5in, aged 18 and wore a black balaclava, black bomber jacket and blue and white trainers. His accomplice was 6ft and was wearing a balaclava, black bomber jacket and black trousers.
