Blackpool have a welcome break from league action tonight, when they play Hereford in their favourite competition - the LDV Vans Trophy.
Colin Hendry's side go into the match on the back of two league defeats, at the hands of Tranmere and Barnsley but the Pool boss will be hoping for a morale boosting victory against the Conference high fliers, in the Northern Section Quarter Finals.
Blackpool are aiming to win the competition for the third time in four years but must do so without defender Rob Clare, who suffered an ankle injury on Saturday while Rob Edwards is rated 50/50.
Meanwhile Colin Hendry has had a loan bid for Tranmere Rovers striker Simon Haworth rejected as he looked to bolster his strikeforce.
Haworth has only just returned after 11 months on the sidelines, with a double fracture of his right leg and made his first start, of the season, in Rovers 1-0 win at Bloomfield Road a fortnight ago.
