AWARD-winning Shuttleworth chef Daniel Kirkpatrick has got a real taste for success.
For the 21-year-old, who serves up a variety of delicacies at the Eagle and Child in Whalley Road, has picked up yet another national accolade.
Daniel, who learned his cooking at Bury College, beat four experienced finalists to win the Pub Chef of the Year Award in the Meat Category with his succulent Cumbrian ham wrapped lamb.
The chef, who has as string of awards to his name, said: "The finalists were much older than myself but I was confident that my dish would be looked upon favourably.
"To win it, though, came as something as a shock but it just shows that age is no barrier when it comes to cooking."
Despite his tender years Daniel has already picked up titles including the North West Young Chef of the Year and the De Vere Hotels Young Chef of the Year.
