SCHOOLS around Bury are being urged to build on pupils' skills at an event to promote 'hands-on' vocations.
Students from Tottington High, Bury CE High, Radcliffe Riverside, and St Monica's High in Prestwich are already due to attend the SkillCity Northwest careers fair.
The four-day event at Manchester's G-Mex Centre will feature chances for pupils to try jobs as diverse as bricklaying and hairdressing.
Schools wishing to attend the event, which runs from December 8 to 11, can request a taster video by calling 0161 237 4141.
