ADVICE surgeries are available to older people in Rossendale.
Age Concern Lancashire holds sessions every Tuesday from 1-4pm at the Mary Hindle Resource Centre, Bury Road, Haslingden. No appointment is necessary and older people, their carers, friends or family can also attend to discuss issues that affect them, including benefits, completing forms and contacting other organisations.
Appointments are also available at Age Concern, Kay Street, Rawtenstall, on Fridays between 10am and 12.30pm and at the charity's Bacup office, King Street, from 2-3pm every Tuesday.
The charity also undertake home visits for people with mobility problems.
