FOLLOWING their debut sell out performances last year the Demi-paradise company will be back at Hoghton Tower, near Chorley, next week, with a yuletide feast of words and music.
You can expect a magical mix of festive verse and prose, songs and carols, letters, journals, short stories and dramatised comic scenes at the Deck the Hall with Boughs of Holly event.
This wonderful seasonal concoction will be performed around the fire and hearth of the tower's magnificent wood panelled Great Hall, from Thursday, December 9-11, at 8pm.
This year's readers include Marc Goodall, CP Hallam and Amy Worth, who have all appeared in one or more promenade Shakespeare productions at Lancaster Castle, and Simon Norbury, making his performance debut. The show's artistic director is Sue McCormack.
Joining the actors will be the acclaimed female acapella choir, Five in a Bar, under the musical direction of Jude Glendinning, whose debut CD, 'A Slice of Onion', is launched this month to coincide with their December season of concerts.
