FIFTEEN people were arrested as part of a two-day police operation in Morecambe.
Police targeted premises in the West End and Poulton areas at the weekend, arresting people for offences including burglary, robbery, possession of heroin and carrying an offensive weapon.
Police say the operation, codenamed Sheringham, was a great success.
Six warrants were also served under the Misuse of Drugs Act and a number of stop and searches carried out.
Head of Morecambe police Insp Jill Townley says: "In addition to the arrests made, a large amount of intelligence was gathered and criminal activities in these areas disrupted.
"Due to the success of the operation it is intended to arrange similar activities in the near future.''
