JOHN Hughes is going back to the drawing board, with as many as four new faces set to join his struggling Chorley outfit.
"We need a change and a new lease of life," said Hughes, whose said are second from bottom in UniBond Division One and tomorrow will host the side second from top, Gresley Rovers.
"The players have had enough time but for some of them the step up is clearly too much so we need to get a bit of quality in."
Leigh midfield duo Gavin Ellis and Chris McGrath are set to sign and Hughes is looking to secure the services of a third RMI player, Warren Payton, on a month's loan.
The Magpies manager is also believed to be tracking Droylsden forward Gavin Salmon as he looks to add some established UniBond experience to the squad.
But Hughes admits that he is feeling pressure from the fans as he searches for the right formula to produce a change in fortunes.
He said: "The pressure is coming into play now because no-one likes to be where we are.
"I've not been told that we have to win tomorrow, because Gresley are a big team and financially well off.
"But even if it isn't a must-win against Gresley, we have must-win games coming up in the next couple of weeks anyway so things have got to change."
