FORMER Manchester United duo David May and Ben Thornley will be settling for Trafford rather than Old Trafford tomorrow.
Thornley is set for his home debut, while May will play at West View for the first time in the North West Counties Division One clash.
"Ben is going to have a late fitness but it is 95 per cent sure he will make his debut," said Bacup boss Brent Peters.
"It's a top of the table game so one that people should be looking to take in.
"They beat us two weeks ago with a late goal so we need to be looking to get something out of this game."
Meanwhile, Peters has put seven days notice of an approach into Cheadle Town for Martin McDonald.
The midfield man has previously played for Doncaster Rovers, Macclesfield Town and Stockport County.
NIGEL Coates is relying on outside forces to affect COLNE'S destiny.
As his side have soared to fourth in North West Counties Division One, the Reds boss is keeping a close eye on the teams surrounding him.
"Over the next couple of weeks a few of the sides around us are playing each other," said Coates.
"So some teams are going to drop points, it has just better not be us.
"We've proved that, in this league, any team that puts a concerted run together can pull away and we've found ourselves in fourth."
Colne's lofty position has come about due to a storming run of seven wins and three draws from their past 10 games in all competitions.
And their last defeat, 4-3 at home to Skelmersdale in October, gave Colne the springboard to launch their rocket towards the top.
Coates said: "That really fired us up. We had a decent run prior to that but it still gave us the kick up the backside we needed."
Colne are at home to Atherton Collieries tomorrow, with Craig Whittaker unavailable and Paul Walker still struggling to be fit.
Ian Simpson will return to the team after missing Tuesday's 2-0 win at Formby due to work commitments.
RAMSBOTTOM UNITED are at home to Maine Road tomorrow and GREAT HARWOOD TOWN are also in league action, hosting Stone Dominoes.
