HYNDBURN school children are to be taught the skills of the beautiful game by Premiership footballers.
Eaves Brook Housing Association has teamed up with Blackburn Rovers to run 'football in the community' across the borough.
The project will be launched on Saturday, December 18, when Blackburn play Everton at Ewood Park, and football coaching sessions will then be run at schools in Eaves Brook's areas.
Youngsters in Central, Church, Milnshaw and Clayton-le-Moors will get the chance to take part in the coaching sessions.
Pupils will be taught the values of teamwork, health and fitness, and the importance of community involvement and working together, by Rovers' Community Department.
Players are also expected to be popping into the coaching sessions, or to an awards ceremony.
