STEVE Cotterill wants to see a sell-out crowd flock to Turf Moor to see Burnley take on mighty Liverpool in the FA Cup.
The Clarets were yesterday handed a dream home tie against the Reds next month, the fourth time in a decade they have been paired with the Premiership giants in cup competition.
This season's third round clash, scheduled for the weekend of January 8/9, will provide more financial cheer for Burnley following the recent Carling Cup games at home to Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur.
And boss Cotterill believes that at the third time of asking, he could at last achieve his aim of packing the ground to the rafters.
Casting aside the disappointment of Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Plymouth, he insisted: "It's a fantastic draw for Burnley Football Club and we're all delighted.
"Liverpool will be the third Premiership club to come to Turf Moor this season and I would expect it will be a sell-out.
"I certainly hope so anyhow because I've been looking forward to seeing the ground full since I arrived and, as yet it's just not happened.
"I just want to sample it and this draw sets the scene, so it should be a tremendous occasion for us."
Burnley bosses will now be hoping TV chiefs are interested in screening the tie live, as that would net the cash-strapped club another £150,000.
Meanwhile, Wigan boss Paul Jewell has hinted that he is not ready to give up hope of signing Clarets captain and top-scorer Robbie Blake.
The Latics have already seen bids of £500,000 and £600,000 rejected for Blake, who Sky Sports yesterday named as the Championship's Powerade Player of the Month for November following his three recent match-winning goals.
Jewell, who has made Blake his number one target, said: "We have now made two bids for Robbie, which were turned down.
"I think he is a good player who would improve our squad, but our valuation and Burnley's valuation are obviously different and if we can't come to an agreement then nothing will happen."
