AN art gallery which opened earlier in the year is doing so well the owner has employed his partner to run the business.
Michael Bentley opened Bentley's art gallery in March, in Whalley New Road, Blackburn.
The gallery sells Michael's own paintings, mainly of views, including Venice, the Lake District and the Ribble Valley.
Michael's fiance, Sarah Howell, has now left her previous job, as an auditor, to run the gallery, leaving Michael free to paint.
Michael has added new paintings to the collection for sale, including townscapes of Clitheroe, Whalley and Blackburn.
The paintings are available at the gallery ranging in price from £170 to £2,900.
Sarah, who lives with Michael in Ramsgreave, said: "Michael needs to paint. It's quite enjoyable really, working for yourself."
The gallery is open from 11am to 6pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and from 10am to 5pm on Saturday.
For more information call the gallery on 01254 240600.
