AS A smoker for 24 years and a non-smoker for just 14 months, I now hate the smell of it.

So as a regular user of Lancaster bus station, I believe their should be some compromise - such as a segregated area.

I have been to both Manchester and Zurich airports, where not one person smoked in areas they shouldn't. Why can Lancaster City Council not make this arrangement work?

Also, if it is meant to be no smoking can someone explain why the bus drivers are allowed to smoke in there.
