WE often read and hear in the national media about the plight of single mums being let down by the Government's agency the CSA.
Can I point out, please, it is not only single mothers affected by this Government Agency's mistakes but also single dads.
Whilst I agree most single parents are women you will find that there are quite a large number of single dads too. I know this because I am a single dad with three children to support. I too have been affected by this Agency.
My advice to anyone married or living together where children are concerned is learn your partner's national insurance number by heart. You never know when you may need it to trace a non-residential parent in the future.
Let's have a public name and shame purge a bit like a rogues gallery on those who refuse to pay. I am sure most members of the public would support this.
This could be done locally outside our town halls and other public notice boards. These losers would soon pay up then through shame - if any of them understand the word.
