A SPECIAL mobile police station will be located on Broadway, Accrington, from next week.
The unit will be on hand for about ten days, from Monday, December 13 to Tuesday, December 21.
Police officers will staff the unit, ready to take inquiries from the public, and on certain days community surgeries will also be held for particular areas of the town.
On Monday, residents of Church and Milnshaw can pop in to speak to their local officers, and on Tuesday, Oswaldtwistle residents can attend.
Then on Wednesday, December 15, Springhill and Central residents can attend, with Peel, Altham, Huncoat and Clayton-le-Moors on Thursday.
Finally, on Friday, December 17, Barnfield and Baxenden residents can attend.
On the last day of the mobile unit being stationed in Accrington -- Tuesday, December 21 -- a special crime prevention surgery will be run.
